Kanuma is a substrate that comes from eroded volcanic remains of the Tochigi area in the Kanuma region and Ibaragi coast. It has a very high capacity to retain water and at the same time the drainage is excellent. Its pH is slightly acidic, between 4.5 and 5, very important for acidic species
Akadama is a neutral or slightly acidic soil, with a PH of 6.5 to 6.9 (7 is the neutral point), an ideal horticultural characteristic for most species. Grain between 8 mm. and 12 mm. See price per volume below.
